Gorgeously glowy skin is in. Get the glow-down on how to create the coveted radiant look here.

Over the last few years, glowy skin seems to have stolen the spotlight from matte makeup, and it’s showing no signs of stopping. An illuminated look creates a healthy-looking complexion and adds dimension to your face. Whether you prefer a ‘lit-from-within’ look or a full-on blinding highlight, we’ve compiled a list of ways you can amp up the glow, without looking greasy.

Spritz it

A dewy setting spray gives you wet-looking skin in an instant.  These little bottles of makeup magic save dry, dull-looking skin and stop you from looking cakey, but they can be used in other ways, too.

The secret to creating a completely blinding highlight? Dampen your brush with a setting spray and dip into your highlighter powder. When applied to the skin, the dampness from the setting spray takes your highlight to another dimension.

Ace your base

Who said highlighter had to be applied after the rest of your complexion products? Apply liquid highlighter drops to the highest points of your face (or all over for a serious glow), underneath your foundation to fake your way to naturally-glowy skin. You can even mix them in with your moisturiser for a subtle ‘lit-from-within’ look.

You may look a little crazy at first, but once your foundation is applied, the radiant properties of the highlighter shine through your base and creates extra-glowy skin.

This one’s especially great for no-makeup-makeup days.

We all have those days where we only have time to chuck on some concealer and dash out of the door. If you select your products carefully, you can still add extra dimension and radiance to your face, even when you’re wearing minimal makeup. Use illuminating foundations and radiance-boosting concealers with luminising properties to achieve a ‘your-skin-but-better’ look.

Layer it up

Highlighting products come in so many forms, which can all be used together. For a serious glow, layer your liquids, creams and powders together.

Glowy skin is in. If you’re here for it, then give it a go. The perfect YouTube glow might seem daunting at first, but it’s easy for you to achieve with the right products. Time to get glowing.
