1. The COLLECTION brand has celebrated its 25th
Birthday. Can you remember the first COLLECTION products that you
bought?
I've always loved the different products in the COLLECTION
range, but I think that the first thing to really grab my attention
was the Natural Matt Foundation (£3.49) in Natural Beige. It was a
definite favourite for quite some time! I loved the colour ranges
from COLLECTION too, and the Nail Polishes have always been really
playful.
2. On our photography shoot, we created four different
decade looks to celebrate the 25 years Collection have been
producing cosmetics. Which was your favourite decade look and
why?
I loved all of the different beauty looks, and it was so fun to
dress up in the different styles that were iconic. If I had to pick
one, it would have to be the eighties colour pop look, as the
makeup was so intricate and the crimped hair was just such a
throw-back to that time.
3. One of the decade looks we created was inspired by
the 90's and Brit Pop. It's a great year to celebrate being
British. How will you be celebrating being British this
Summer?
I'm going to be going to a lot of our wonderful festivals that
we have on - I've already been to Love Box and Field Day in London,
which were awesome! I'm also going to be getting in the Olympic
spirit by throwing Olympic parties and hitting a few Olympic events
if I get the chance.
5. With the release of your new album this Summer, you
will no doubt have lots of gigs and festivals planned. Do you have
a favourite festival and what is your signature festival
outfit?
Yes! I'm going on tour in the summer playing mainly outdoor
venues! I like to play it quite safe at festivals as you never know
which way the English weather is going to go. I like to go for the
grunge look though; I also love all the '90s punk fashion that's in
at the moment.
6. What is your essential piece of make up to take to a
festival?
Waterproof Mascara, red lip stick and some glitter, I love
glitter at festivals! A good concealer is always essential to cover
up any bags under your eyes after a long day of partying, or any
blemishes that might arise from all that festival fun which isn't
necessarily very good for your skin! COLLECTION Lasting Perfection

the wand applicator it's great for on the go touch ups.
7. We saw you looking gorgeous at LFW last year, and
know you have got an eye for fashion. What are your three key
fashion items this summer?
Some loud patterned trousers...I'm trying to get my hands on
some water melon ones! Some flatworms, and my absolute essential is
a denim jacket. I can't go through summer without one. I've been
rocking one from a collection called Jervois designs, great denim
with colourful tapestry.
8. What Collection products would you pair with those
fashion items?
I do love a coral lip shade, so the Lasting Colour Lipstick in
Mango Tango would be perfect for this look. A bright pink lip also
means that you can wear subtle makeup for daytime, with the
COLLECTION Primer keeping your skin looking fresh for longer, and
you can add a glamorous eye makeup look for evening. The new

9. Which two key cosmetic trends did you love on SS12
catwalks?
I really loved the new "hyper-real" skin trend, where the skin
looked so flawlessly healthy with a supermodel sheen. I also loved
the modern cat eye flick as seen on the Jonathan Saunders and
Matthew Williamson catwalks. It's a great one to try to recreate
yourself. I have been trying out the professional finish that a gel
liner gives on a feline flick, and the COLLECTION Lasting Colour
Gel liners are perfect for this!
